Family Time!

On Thursday Jeff and I took Ryker to the Zoo for a family trip. Ryker LOVES the zoo! His favorite is the elephants, sea lions, seals, and polar bear!! He could stay in the same spot for hours watching them swim by! Also, on Friday night my mamma came to visit for the weekend! On Sunday we took a drive up Big Cottonwood Canyon to take a walk and look at all the fall trees. And while we were walking around we ran into a moose!! Its always so exciting to see animals in their natural habitat! She left last night...so we are sad to see her gone! :( The other news we have is that we will be moving out of here at the end of October! Hurray! We will be moving into a 2 bedroom out by Thanksgiving Point at the beginning of November... It's going to be so nice for Ryk to have his own room and for Jeff to be so much closer to work! He has been commuting for more than 2 years now..so it's time to cut that commuty in half!! It's def. bitter sweet moving...i dont know why i almost tear up when i think about it... i guess its probably because this has been our "home" for almost  2 years now... and this is where Ryker and Lily know as home...but it will be a good change! On a side note.... Ryker has been sick with a runny nose, sore throat, fever since Friday! Jeff had it in the middle of the week, then Rykee got it, now i have it, it sucks! He still refuses to take a bottle unless its bed time and he refuses to lay down flat, which means he has been sleeping in our arms for the last few nights...which means we are exhausted! It should be a rule that you cant be sick when your kids are sick, it just makes it so much worse!!
