Life of a One Year Old!

Ryker is do much fun these days! And it's so fun to see how SMART he is!! He wants to do EVERYTHING we do! If I'm sweeping he wants to sweep.. If I'm vacuuming he insists on vacuuming.. If I'm cooking he wants to help! He even watched Jeff hang up his book shelves so now he goes around the house hammering the walls with his toothbrush or whatever he can get his hands on! It's so cute! And he sure is a big eater! He LOVES peas green beans and cooked carrots.. He will eat anything we give him! Sometimes for breakfast he will eat a scrambled egg and a bowl of oatmeal!!! When he sees a dog he points and days "duh" and then woofs after! It's so cute! And when he sees his ball or balloons he says "bah" and points! He seriously melts my heart! The other night we were at dinner and he saw me blowing on my food so he started to blow on his food I love it!!! Today Jeff brought him to my work and literally got butterflies  when I saw the car pull up because I was so anxious to see him!!! I love him so much!! 

On our date night the other day when Jeff was off at 6pm!!!

After being back at home at my mammas I decided I miss using the "cups" I grew up using.. So I bought some new "cups" for us!! And yes when I was growing up and friends would come over they would ask why they had to drink out of a jar! Ha! 

Enjoying this beautiful weather at the thanksgiving point deli and bakery.. Loving that oatmeal raisin cookie! 

While I was getting ready for work ryker fell back asleep in our bed.. These two look like twins whenever they sleep!!!

Memorial Day in Vegas

We decided to take a quick trip to Vegas for Memorial Day! We rode down on Saturday Morning with our friends Jon and Erin! When we got into Vegas we had some lunch then took Ryker to a splash pad park to play! After he played for a little bit we went to dinner at my favorite BBQ place called Lucille's! Jeff was so excited to try their signature ribs! After dinner we did a little shopping at the District then headed home for the night! On Sunday we went to the pool at the hotel where Jon and Erin were staying at and played in the pool for a few hours! That night we had a fun BBQ at my aunts house with all of the family! After we put Ryker to bed that night Jeff and I were able to go on a date to see The Great Gatsby! We haven't been to a movie in forever! We rarely ever have a babysitter and we don't really have family close to watch him for us so it was nice to leave him with my mom and go on a date with just us!

Zoo day.. Fun day!

On Thursday morning Jeff and I took Ryker to the zoo! I've never been in the spring and its so fun! ALL of the animals were actually out and playing.. As opposed to when we go in the summer and they are too hot so they just lie there! Ryker loves the zoo so much! His favorites are the elephants, bears, seals and the polar bear!!

How cute are these two? When I get up for work at 7 and Ryk wakes up at 7:30 I give him a bottle and put him in bed with Jeff and they sleep a few more hours together! So presh!

Table!

I'm so stocked today! We have been watching this table at smiths marketplace for about 5 months now to go on super duper sale again... And it has for Memorial Day! We got a deal we could NOT pass up!! So excited to finally have chairs again!!! 

Jeff's project this morning...

Can't wait to start eating dinner at the TABLE again as a FAMILY.. Instead of the couch like we have the last 5 months! 

Best Mothers Day!

I sure was spoiled this Mother's Day by my boys! They came and brought me flowers yesterday at work!! Unfortunately Jeff had to work Saturday night but one of my best friends, Rhonda, was driving through Utah and stayed the night with us!! We went to city creek and had dinner there at Cheesecake Factory! Then this morning my boys worked hard and made me home made red potato hashbrowns and egg whites with peppers and avocado.. Yum!! Then they gave me a present from Tiffany &co! It's a necklace with and additional "R" tag for Ryker.. I love it and plan on wearing it almost EVERYDAY!! After church we came home and made sandwiches to go and have a picnic in the park!! So fun! I love my cute little family and feel so blessed!!
