Painting...shelves..carpet cleaning..and a park day.

So Tuesday...the 18th...we FINALLY finished painting our chairs and tables!! Looks soo much better all solid black!!! Then yesterday, we hung up our first set of shelves on the walls!! woohoo!! we do have 2 empty picture frames on the shelves..waiting for our wedding pictures, so we can put those in the frames!! We also took Lily on her first trip to the park!! She loved it! She loves to run and run chasing her ball! These little boys were even throwing a football and she took off full speed trying to get their football! It was hilarious!! Then, today, we rented a carpet cleaner to get out all those winter stains from wet shoes! We finally bought a rug to put in front of the front door when you walk in to hopefully prevent the black carpet from reappearing! And to top it off, Monday's Jeff's 26th birthday!! So Sunday night I am throwing him a little birthday dinner party at our house with his family and close friends! Im going to make him a Tres Leches cake per his request, found a good Betty Crocker recipe for that! woo hoo! Now i need to go grocery shopping to make everything!!

Jazz-ing it up and Jeff's new haircut!

Yesterday we were fortunate enought to go to the Jazz game with Jeff's family ( Julie and Trent, Lindsey and Brian)..thanks to Jeff's brother Brian for inviting us! It was ten times better watching the Jazz game in the LOWER BOWL for once! Ahh yeah!! And the best part was..Ryan Seacrest was there!! Watching the game with his Dancing With The Stars girlfriend! And of coarse Jazz beat the Detroit Pistons which made for a fun time! The funnest part: JEFF LET ME SHAVE HIS
HEAD!! Victory!! First time he has done that since highschool..he looks so handsom!!

Goodbye 2010..Hello 2011!

2010 treated us good! Jeff and i started dating again Jan.3 2010..with a date to a Jazz game..dinner at CPK and sherlock holmes at the Gateway! And here we are at the beginning of 2011..married and so happy!! 2010 was a great year and hopefully 2011 will be even better!! So far we started off the new year with a clean house..laundry done..and a trip to the gym! Haha GREAT way to start off!! Happy New Year!

A Millsie Christmas

Our first Christmas Together was quit an adventure!! My mom came up to Utah the weekend before Christmas and we did our own christmas all together. Then Jeff and i both had to work Christmas eve, but he ended up getting off work at 9! So he came home and i made him a ham dinner with mashed potatoes and we watched Charlie Brown Christmas in our Christmas eve pajamas! After we decided to open all our christmas presents since our plane to Colorado was leaving at 8 am Christmas morning. On Christmas morning we woke up to find stockings from Santa! Then we flew to Colorado to be with Jeff's family for christmas. We had a huge Christmas breakfast when we got back from the airport. Followed by games..and then a christmas dinner. Then Sunday morning we went to jeff's parents ward for their farewell since they are going on a mission at the beginning of January to London for 2 years. They gave awesome talks and all of us, jeff and i and all his siblings and their spouses and their children sang Love is Spoken Here in between their talks. It was very touching and the spirit was so strong. After sacrament we had a big lunch at Shelly's. Then at 4 we went to the stake center for jeff's parents setting apart and that was an amazing experience! Later that night we flew home and were so happy to see our Lily who we missed soo much on our trip! haha
