Christmas Vacation..in VeGaS

This year we had Christmas in Vegas! It was fun to be there with all of the family!! We got there Thursday night and came home Monday night! We were so sad to leave Lily behind...we missed her the ENTIRE time!! But before we left we let her open her christmas presents..

On Friday we had an eye doctor appointment...and at night we all went out to dinner to celebrate Jackson's 20th birthday! Saturday we did Christmas Eve with my dad and Jackson...we went to Carabbas for dinner and then we went to see Mission Impossible in IMAX...loved it!! Christmas day we had all the family over at my mammas for a big christmas dinner and gifts!! On Monday we went and saw my good friend Amy and she took a few prego pics in her backyard for us! Soo cute!!

This weekend...

We had a great weekend! On Saturday we had a nice early dinner with Jeffs siblings and his grandma and grandpa at Geckos...later that evening we went with Kandace and Joey to see the Nutcracker! I love going to the Nutcracker! After the show we went and got dessert at Chili's...love the chocolate cake!
Today we had church and then it was my works Christmas Fiesta party! I love that Jeff gets the weekends off now!! Anyways...heres some things Porter has gotten recently!!

 we found these sport binkis and just had to get them...ill admit i am OBSESSED with binkis..he already has 6 binkis..i sure hope he likes taking a binki because ive already planned on matching his binkis to his outfits..ya im weird like that..

Its a....

Boy dont you want to know...its a BOY...in April we will have a little Porter John Mills around the house! Woohoo! We had our ultrasound on Friday and told the tech we didnt want to know what the baby was until Saturday for our party...so she told us when to cover our eyes..and at the end she cut off all the gender ultrasounds and put them in an envelope so we wouldnt see :) I feel this little man will be a handfull.. or he just really thinks he is funny... he was head down and facing my spine...he kept his arms at his face the ENTIRE time... until she made me lay on my right side so she could see between his legs..and right when she was going in for the money shot he decided to grab his area down there...luckily she was patient and got what we needed! I would have been really sad if we had to wait any longer! Unfortunatly we didnt get any profile pictures since his hands were at his face the entire time...but we did get one picture of his face looking straight at us! It almost looks like he is smiling :) After our ultrasound i had someone from work open the results and give my mom and aunt susan a call to let them know what the baby was! On Saturday night was our "Whats it going to bee" party! It was so fun to have our family and close friends there...and having aunt karen and my cousin dani on the skype to find out with us what Baby Mills was going to be! Aunt Susan made a cake and the inside would either be blue or pink...so when we cut it we saw BLUE! We couldnt be more excited!! I had a feeling it was boy...especially since the first blessing Jeff gave me when we found out i was pregnant he kept saying things like " he will.."! So interesting!! We sure are hoping April comes quick!!

The big 2-5!

Happy birthday to me! Today i turned the big 2-5...i can now rent a car! woo! I feel so blessed and spoiled by my family and husband this birthday! I got a whole new wardrobe of maternity clothes thanks to all my family! Woohoo! That helps my self-esteem at this point a little! :) i know im pregnant...but it still doesnt make it easy to gain weight all the time and feel gross in my clothes :( While i was in Texas last Thursday until this last Sunday for my Uncle John's funeral...my sweet Aunt Susan, Grandma Gail, and Aunt Jenny took me all over town to buy maternity clothes with my birthday money! It was an exhausting day but we accomplished that mission! haha Then I flew home to Vegas on Sunday evening and stayed at my mammas....Monday i was able to spend the whole day with my mamma and the rest of my family...my Grandma Helen wanted to add to my clothing collection and took me birthday shopping which was pretty succesfull...and then of coarse mamma added some more cute tops from Old Navy ontop of the birthday money she gave me 2 weeks ago..so now im satisfied!  On monday night before i flew back home to Salt Lake... we had a big birthday dinner for me at my Aunt Debbies...my cousin Jason and his wife Sarah and their son Hendrix were in town from San Diego and all the other family were there as well... it was a blast! And my mamma made me a yummy cake with raspberry filling in the middle..mmmm my favorite!!

This morning we woke up to a knock on the door...Jeff has roses delivered to the house for my birthday!! Then he got me breakfast so that I could have breakfast in bed! After breakfast I opened my present....Jeff got me my dream diaper bag...a Petunia Pickle Bottom diaper bag... i felt a little guilty that he spent soo much money on a DIAPER BAG but I love it...and after all my diaper bag will most likely be my purse for the first year so I had to have a good one! We then got ready to drive down to Orem to try my invisalign trays on to see if they fit and unfortunatly the bottom one didnt fit, it was too small so I had to re-do my moldings just for the bottom..hopefully in a month we will get the new ones and i can start that fun process of closing my gaps! woo! I never thought that  the day would come that I would get to fix my gappy teeth..i cant even wait!! After my appointment we went and got lunch at Happy Sumo...i got a california roll and a shrimp tempura roll since i can eat it if its cooked! Not my first choice of rolls but it helps that i can still have some sushi! hehe After our lunch date Jeff had to go to work and so I went with Lindsay to see Breaking Dawn....loved it!! Now im home..packing...we are heading down to Syracuse when Jeff gets home from work tonight and spending the night at my Aunt Susans since thats where Thanksgiving is for us this year!!! Happy Thanksgiving Everyone!!

week 18

17 1/2 weeks and counting...

Here I am these days at 17 1/2 weeks..

and here's to our date night last night... dinner in the temple cafeteria (sooo yummy)...a session at the temple...pumpkin spice steamers..and watching a movie!
