Ryker's 4 Month Pictures!!

While we were in Vegas, my best friend Amy was kind enough to take a few pictures of our little Ryker! She has her own photography business, Amy Bonzo Photography, and we are absolutely in LOVE with them!! Here's just a few!

4 Month Check-up

Thursday Ryker had his 4 month check up! He weighs 15.6 lbs and is in the 57%... 25.5 inches in the 67%! He was talking up a storm when the dr was in the room and he kept rolling over for her...such a show off... which led her to say that he is ahead with his speaking skills as well as his physical skills...she thinks he could be an early talker/crawler/walker...always a proud mamma moment when you hear positive things! She also had us start feeding him jar foods! This week we are doing sweet potatoes! I have never been so scared about giving a baby food!! A possibility of a food allergy is so scary!! We also went to the eye specialist to check his tear duct in his right eye..and also because the dr was concerned that he might be a little cross-eyed in his right eye...but the specialist said he just does it when he focuses on things and he is probably still working things out so it should be corrected on its own..if it doesnt then he might have to wear an eye patch in a few months...as for the tear duct.. it has a supr high chance of being fixed by the time they are 6 months and once they are 6 months it drops and is less likely to fix itself... soo they offered to do it that day but we got too freaked out! They have to stick a thin wire down his tear duct to unclog it...they hold him down and it takes about 2 minutes...sooo if its not better in 2 months then we have to do it...he wants to do it before ryker is 1 becuase then we would have to get it done at the hospital under anesthesia...which we dont want to have to do!

Matchy Matchy

We totally matched today and i didnt even notice until someone said something to me at church today...ha! Guess i had green on my mind!

End of August!

We CANNOT believe it's the end of August!! Seriously time is flying by way too fast!!! Ryker changes SO much everyday!! He is SO alert now i just LOVE it! He will hear my voice in the room and will try to find where i am...its just the cutest and best thing ever!!! I look at him every day and miss when he used to be such a tiny little baby... it makes me cry when i think of how fast he is growing!!

4 months!

Our little guy is 4 months old today! I really cant believe how fast time is going by!! He loves....rice cereal...rolling onto his belly...watching lily...watching baby einsteins...to laugh...to pull my hair...to chew his fingers..and suck on his blankets! He is just the sweetest thing and the love of my life!! Happy 4 months Ryker John!

Ryker's Highchair!

We are super excited we finally got Ryker a highchair! I kept putting it off because he didnt need one..but now that he is eating rice cereal we figured it was time! We got the spacesaver one that straps on to our regular chairs and i LOVE it! It has a reclined postion for younger babes (which we are using right now)..then it sits up like a normal highchair..and then it converts into a toddle chair for when he is older..its awesome and he LOVES it!
