STANDING

This little boy of mine makes me giggle! He has started standing along the couches/ ledges/ my legs..whatever he can and then lets go and starts clapping at himself for standing without holding onto anything! He has been doing it ALL week and is getting stronger and better each time! Love this crazy little guy!
Side story that makes me laugh... Monday morning I left for work...put Ryker in the living room strapped into his bouncer watching Mickeymouse club and Jeff was snoozin on the couch.. a few hours later i get a text from Jeff saying he woke up and Ryker was crawling around with his bouncer still strapped to him.. he wasnt even crying..he was just crawling around looking like a turtle.. he is just SO active!!

Jeff has his 28th birthday on Thursday!! We got him a preset and then Ryker helped me color a "card"/ picture for Jeff...and I think he liked it better than his present!! Of coarse it was a HORRIBLE morning driving to the DMV to renew his license in the FREEZING RAIN...craziest thing I've ever seen!! Then in the evening we went out to Buffalo Wild Wings with some of our friends for dinner and had a fantastic time!!

9 Months!

It's crazy to think in 3 months we will be having Ryker's first birthday party!! So crazy!! Anyways...last Thursday Ryker turned 9 months!! We had Jeff's parents in town staying with us! It was so great to see them! We hadnt seen them in over 2 years...we saw them right before they left for their mission in London...and they hadnt met Ryker yet so it was so fun!! They also were able to come with us to Ryker's 9 month checkup! He is 21 pounds and 29 inches long! He just started clapping on his own the other day and it was so exciting!! He LOVES Mickey Mouse Clubhouse (we have some of the DVD's so he can watch it whenever) so when we turn it on he starts clapping...adorable! Ryker is quite the busy body these days! He is all over the place and into EVERYTHING! It's fun to watch him learn and grow but it sure is exhausting keeping up with him! He loves to play ball and knock down blocks! Our dr is having us feed him ALOT more solid foods which is super fun! He like cheerios, kix, mashed potatos, real peas, saltines, pancakes and waffles, ect ect! She also had us introduce the sippy cup to him at 6 months, he just drinks water out of it now and he is pretty comfortable with it, but now she wants us to start putting formula in it every once in a while so we can have him completely off the bottle by the time he is 1! It's a slow process but i think he will do great!

Ryker is SUCH a daddy's boy! I LOVE it!! And Ryker now has 4 little teeth!! So cute!!

Happy New Year!

We had a fun New Years!! On New Years Eve Jeff had to work until 11 so Ryker was my little date to Kandace and Joeys, were we all ate and talked and the girls crafted and the boys played basketball! I was excited Jeff made it there by 11:30 so I got my New Years kiss! Then on New Years day we caught up on some much needed sleep, i went to the gym, and then later that evening we all went out to dinner! Couldn't have had a better New Years than spending it with my family!! We were so greatful for 2012... bringing our sweet Ryker into this world and watching him grow! We cant wait to see what comes this 2013!!
