Landon's First Birthday

We had so much fun celebrating Landons first birthday! His actually birthday fell on a Wednesday so he woke up to a room full of balloons and a present from my mom downstairs! We made him confetti pancakes and sang him happy birthday!

The following Saturday we had a circus party for him at the splash pad/ community center behind our house! It turned out perfect and we were so happy so many people came to celebrate with us! We had corn dogs, nachos, pretzels, peanuts, cotton candy, pop corn, cupcakes ect! We can't believe Landon is already one! 

Lighthouse/ aviation museum

At the end of June Jeff had a 3 day weekend so we decided to spend his Friday off exploring the 2 museums on our base! We have been to the aviation museum a few times but the boys love it because they love sitting in the planes! Rykers obsessed with Blue Angels so he always wants to go see them all there! After we played there for awhile we drove across the street to the lighthouse museum! It's the famous lighthouse here and you get to tour the house where the keepers lived and go up the lighthouse (which we didn't go up... Little kids aren't supposed to go up and you can't be wearing flip flops).

4th of July 2015

We had so much fun on our first Fourth of July in Pensacola! Friday we made it a beach day and went out to dinner at one of our favorite grills on the water! Saturday we had more beach time and we had some friends over for a BBQ before the Darius Rucker concert! The concert was on base so we gave the boys baths and then walked over to it! Landon slept through most of the concert and all of the fireworks.. But Ryker loved the fireworks! All of the past 4th of July's I always put him to bed by 8 pm so he never really got to see the big fireworks so we were super excited for him to watch them this year!
