Lately i have decided to start making cute decorations for the house with Kandace and Tiffany! Last week we made blocks... i made blocks that say "home" and one set of blocks that say "Spring"...i also found an ugly gold "M" to hang on the wall...so i painted it black and it looks so cute now!! haha!!

Then on Thursday we took our trip to the temple!

On Sunday we had Memori and Scott come over for Sunday dinner..we had Roast and potatoes...and Memori made a yummy dessert!

What Happens in Vegas!!

So last Thursday, March 10th...we made our trip again to Vegas to watch the Mnt. West Bball tourny! It was soo nice to be in 80 degree weather again! Ha We left Thursday afternoon.. and had Joey, Kandace, and Darren ride with us in our car! It was nice and crowded with all our suitcases! Oh and Lily! haha! We got to Vegas at around 8 and met up with Brad and Diondra there! We decided to stay Thursday and Friday night at my dads, so we headed over there and unloaded our bags. Then we went to Buffalo Wild Wings for dinner..soooo good!!! After dinner we decided to just hangout at the house since we had such a long day on the road!

The next morning we woke up super early to drive out to the Las Vegas temple to do an endowment session! Im soo happy we went...it's so beautiful in the Las Vegas Temple! And it was way fun to have so many friends in a session with us! After the trip to the temple we went back to my dads and changed...got some lunch at popeyes..and laid out by the pool at the Cancun resort! Its fun with all the waterslides..and virgin pina coladas and virgin straberry dacquiries yumm! After the pool time we went back to my dads, got ready and went down the the new york new york on the strip to eat at the Espn Zone where the boys could watch the byu game..since the tickets were sold out by the time we made it to vegas thursday night! ha! I was so happy my friends amy and her husband jessie and their baby allison could come join us for dinner! After dinner we went to old vegas downtown where we walked around fremont street..had deep fried twinkies, deep fried oreos and my chocolate dipped bananna. We also went to the Golden Nugget to look at their awesome pool that has a sharktank with a waterslide in the middle of it and gambled a little! haha

Saturday we slept in, us girls made the boys.. eggs..bacon..biskets..hasbrowns...then we all get ready, loaded up the car and moved all of our belongings over to my moms house. After we dropped off all of our stuff we headed over to the premium outlet mall. We shopped there for hours and got some good stuff at awesome prices! Around 3, the boys left to go watch BYU in the championship game, since they had tickets for that game at least ha! And us wives went and did a little more shopping at the Towncenter Outside mall on las vegas blvd. When the game was over, we met the boys at my moms house, where she made us an awesome mexican dinner...homemade enchiladas, homemade beans and rice. Then we got all dolled up to go start our night on the strip. We went to the new cosmopolitan hotel, the bellagio and planet hollywood.

Sunday morning we slept in and woke up to my mamma making us a big Sunday breakfast...eggs, biscuits and gravy.. sausage..bacon.. and my grandma and aunt debbie and uncle henry came to join us and visit. After breakfast we got all packed up and the boys watched the Duke game on tv while we relaxed. We said our farewells and left Vegad at aroun 12:30 and headed back home to Utah! It was such a fun trip and so nice to get away!!

Yesterday was such a good day off with the hubby!! We slept in and woke up to the sound of rain falling outside...love that sound! I got up and went to the gym and Jeff went to school. After we got some lunch..sat around for awhile and then decided to go see a movie. We went and saw the Kings Speech and it was awesome! Not to mention the fact that 3 people from Harry Potter were in the movie...made it even better!! After the movie we decided to go visit the fam! Jeff still hadnt seen brian and lindseys new house so we went and saw them...ended up having some yummy dinner there...and learned how to make creamcheese wantans! sooo yummy and soo easy! Later we left and went to the jazz game vs. the nuggs and had incredible seats and the nuggs won so woohoo! Love having relaxing fun days like that with my love!! Now we are getting ready to take off and go to Vegas next thursday for the mountain west tourny w. kandace and joey..brad and di..and darren! Cant wait! We need a vacation! haha

My Favorite Place!

The temple is my most favorite place to be EVER! I cant get enough of it! This is a picture of the SLC temple on our wedding day...picture perfect and glorious! How can you not look at this picture without desiring to be inside? So much peace and comfort you feel inside the Lords House! Im so excited to go do sealings tomorrow with Jeff! I am soo happy he enjoys going to the temple everyother week with me!! haha! I lovee my husband!!

Our own Valentines Day

So yesterday Jeff and I properly celebrated our first valentines day being married! Jeff had school in the morning, so i cleaned the house so we could come home today to a clean house! When Jeff got home we had some lunch and then went to the mall...we were each going to buy a few new outfits but of coarse when i could buy something i couldnt find hardly anything i wanted! haha! figures! but i did get 2 new tops and jeff got a shirt and a pair of jeans! after we went shopping we ran home and said our goodbyes to Lily and grabbed our bags. We felt so guilty leaving Lily home alone overnight for the first time! So we headed downtown and checked into our hotel room at the Plaza, its right across from the temple and from our window we could see the Capitol and the Conference Center! We got ready for dinner and headed to Layton to eat at Corbins Grill! ohh it is sooooo delicious!! we got these italian spring roll/ dumbling things for an appetizer and they were amazing! Then i got a steak for dinner and jeff got a burger! Words cant describe how delicious it was! Its def. my favorite restraunt! We tried to save room for dessert, but after having the appetizer, salad, their amazing bread w3. garlic butter, and our entree we were soo full! So we left dinner and went back to the hotel and went hot tubbing! Wish i would have brought my camera down to the hot tub because you're starring straight at the temple while you sit in the hot tub! it was an amazing view!! After, we went up to our rooms..showered.. cuddled and watched criminal minds for 2 hours haha! We woke up the next day soo early..i cant sleep without lily now and we just wanted to get back to her as soon as possible! We were going to go out for breakfast but we just wanted her so we did the express checkout, speeded home and she was at the door wagging her tail full speed! (she can identify the sound our car makes when we lock it so she knows when we are going to be coming into the house..shes a smart cookie..) We were sooo happy to see her! I made us a big breakfast when we got home..so we had breakfast in bed w. our baby! haha! But it was def. the best valentines day ever!! Next time...we are going to a hotel where we can take dogs!! haha
