First SNOW

This morning we woke up to our first snow!! I'm not going to lie i HATE the snow..it's exciting for 2 seconds and then it gets old REALLY fast! Like when i had to crawl out of my warm bed to go outside and scrape the car off in the cold snowy weather just to get to the gym... not fun! But we were super excited to show Ryker snow for the FIRST time!! Good thing it's going to be back up to 67 for Halloween next week!!!

6 Months and Cornbellys!

On Wednesday our little Rykee-roo turned 6 months! i cant even believe it! He is half a year old already! On Thursday we had his appointment and he was 17.84 pounds (57%) and 27.28 inches long (80%)! And he is an excellent sitter now and has 2 little teeth!! So cute!! We are now starting him on a sippy cup (just to get him used to one) and eating real food...im SUPER nervous about him choking so im starting him with the Puffs and rice crackers that dissolve super easy! He already LOVES to feed himself the crackers...he freaks out if i try to hold them for him! Oh and have i mentioned he is a COMPLETE daddy's boy?!?! So cute!!!! Then later that evening we went to Buffalo Wild Wings and Cornbellys with Kandace and Joey!! SUPER fun!!!

Tooth #2

Rykers first tooth is sticking out but not fully up yet and now the one next to it is breaking through the skin as we speak! Oh joy! Yesterday was a rough day for him!! I cant imagine how bad it hurts for teeth to break through skin! I just hope they come all the way up soon!! I cant believe our little peanut will be 6 months old tomorrow!! HALF A YEAR old ALREADY!! CRAZY! And then on Thursday he has his dr visit and shots..yay ha ha!

Yesterday we had so much fun with Tiff and Embree and Nicki and Kaiya! We met for lunch at Cafe Rio then we took the babes to go and see the witches at Gardner Village! I have been wanting to go see this for a few years now and im so excited i finally did!! Gardner Village is ADORABLE! It looks like a cute little town right out of Gilmore Girls so of coarse i LOVED it!!! SO FUN! We did the cute little witch scavenger hunt so we could get the kids chocolate chip cookies for 35 cents from the cute little bakery!!

Sitting and a Tooth!

These last few days Ryker has made some new fun accomplishments! He can sit by himself when he wants to, he gets super excited about reaching for things which makes him fall over, but if he stays still he can sit on his own!! Also, today we found his first tooth thats starting to come in!! I was rubbing my finger across the bottom row when i felt a little rough spot that felt like a little piece of glass sticking up out of his gums..and yup there's a tooth!! im super excited to see his tooth once it breakes through completely in the next few days!! Also, on Sunday we had so much fun with conference!! In the morning Julie and Trent came over and i made cinammon roll pancakes from SCRATCH! yup..no box mix this time..all from scratch!! Then we went to Brian and Lindsays for the afternoon session and dinner! We love being fortunate enough to be near some of our family! I went so many years living here with out any around that it is nice to finally have some!! I really do cherish and value time we get to be around family!! You dont know how lucky and nice it really is until you dont have it around anymore!
