Our Little Bean...

                         We are Having a Baby!!!
We have known since the beginning of August.. i had no idea i was ..i didnt feel any different..it wasnt until i was over a week late and finally got some positive tests! And on Thursday was our first doctors appointment! We were so excited to see our little millsy for the first time and to hear and see that little heartbeating...it was amazing! Our doctor kept saying our little one had a strong heartbeat so thats music to my ears..its supposed to be between 120-160 bpm and ours was at 153 bpm! yay! The not so happy news for me was..i thought i was about 8 weeks...they thought i was 9 weeks (which got me super excited..that much closer to being out of the first trimester...) and then when we did the ultrasound and the baby was only measuring 7 weeks so my due date was moved from April 4 to April 18..i have a longer cycle so she thinks i just ovulated later than i thought...so we dont go back to the doctors until the first week of october when im out of the first trimester! woo!! Im excited to be done with the first trimester..especially since i am nauseous all day everyday..yuck..luckily i have yet to throw up... and im soo tired...i cant stand the smell of food cooking..and hate being in the kitchen more than anything! Jeff and Lily have been so good at taking care of me and the house since i have no energy haha! Here are some pictures...i know its too early to start showing but we wanted to track my week by week progress :)

Lily's 1st Birthday and More...

Last Thursday was Lily's first birthday!! And...we kinda went all out! haha We went to the dog bakery and got her her very own birthday pizza and a few birthday frosted cookies. And then we got all the humans coldstone cupcakes and coldstone ice cream sandwhiches! We took everything over to Brian and Lindsays and celebrated with them and the kids and Trent and Julie! haha Thanks to everyone for being a trooper ;)

Also almost 2 weeks ago i had the opportunity to go see SUGARLAND!! I went with my Aunt Susan, Uncle Dave, and cousin Julie. And we felt like VIPs...Literally! We had our own VIP parking... VIP entrance...free food...and our own suite with someone standing guard haha! It was an awesome show!! Sara Bareilles opened and she was soo good! and Sugarland is so good and so entertaining! i am so happy i got to go!! :)

This last Saturday was the bridal shower i threw for my friend Lindsay! i was so lucky to have my aunt susan come and help me cook the food and cupcakes since as of lately i cant stand to be in the kitchen and around food..blah!! But here are the amazing cupcakes we made...so darling!

An exciting week!

Last week was a very exciting and eventful week! On Sunday the 7th our nephew Nathan was blessed. It was a beautiful blessing filled with comfort and love. Then on Thursday the 11th Hannah and Grant got married!! We went to an amazing luncheon at Christophers Steakhouse and had a blast at the reception at a park in Draper. It was a beautiful night!! And to top it off we were so thrilled to have Tiffany Ryan and Embree in town! It was so nice to be able to do so much with them while they were here and we miss them like crazy already!! Here's a few picture i managed to take at the wedding...not too many though :( Mainly just ones of the adorable kids!!

The last HARRY POTTER!!

I cant believe its all over!! Im in total disbelief and sad that its done ha! Yesterday was an eventful day...I went to Juli's house and got my hair colored and cut... then later that evening we had our neighbors that we have made friends with over for dinner and games. So fun! Then we met up with Megan and Andrew for a double date at the temple! And Jeff and I got to be the witness couple again! Woo! We love getting the opportunity to do that! After the temple we rushed home to change and go to the midnight premiere of HARRY POTTER!! Top row seats at Jordan Commons! BEST way to do it! haha The movie was AMAZING!! I shedded a few tears thats for sure! Ugh it really is so sad its all over!!!

Transformers!

Last Thursday was our day off together. We made some steaks for dinner on our little George Foreman grill since we dont have a bbq! boo!! After dinner Jeff and I went to see Memori and Scotts new baby Baya! She is so darling!!! After we went to visit them we went and saw the new Transformers movie and loved it!!! Also on Saturday and Sunday I made some new crafts for the house with Kandace! We each made a "established placque" for our homes and she also helped me make my "family" letters!! yay!! i love them! haha

4th of July 2011!

On Thursday we took Hailey and Blake for the day and took them to the rec center to play in the pool! Later that evening we went on a double date with Megan and Andrew to do a session at the Salt Lake City temple....after our session (which was the last session of the night) we were wondering around and a temple worker let us in Lorenzo Snows office and left us there to explore!! Such a great experience!!

We were soo busy this fourth of July!!! My mamma came down on Saturday and stayed until Monday! On Saturday when i got home from an extremely busy day at the salon we went to the Rodeo in West Jordan! We had second row seats and were so close! So close that it almost scared me...haha i swear when the horses came bucking our way i really thought they were going to jump over the railing and right into our laps haha but it was awesome!! I only got a couple of pictures before the rodeo even started and then my camera battery died...sad!

Then on Sunday we went to church..oh by the way Jeff got a calling...hes a primary teacher now! aww! Haha  So after church we went up into the canyon to have a picnic...loved it! It was so peaceful and quiet there! After that we went hot tubbing and baked cookies!

On Monday morning we woke up super early and drove back up the canyon to Brighton ski resort to have breakfast! It's tradition! Except this time it was freezing!! haha but it was still fun! After breakfast mamma left to go bakc home to vegas and we went to Jeff's grandpas for a lunch and swimming with all the family! After swimming and lunch we came back home..showered and went to the Real Salt Lake game! They tied with New England and afterwards was the 4th of July fireworks! woohoo! Cant wait until next year...4th of July is the best!
