The big 3!

I can't believe my little baby is three! That happened so fast!! We are so blessed to have him in our family! I love the little things to me.. Like when we are in the car and his favorite song comes on and he says "ready mamma?" When it's time to sing the chorus! Or how he says in a high pitched voice "hi baby! Sleep good?" When Landon wakes up from a nap! And the first thing he tells me when he wakes up in the morning is that he slept good! He also renamed Lily "bolt" after the movie.. So he always says "hi bolt" whenever he sees her.. I love watching him grow and learn new things every day! He is completely potty trained.. And he did it so smoothly and easily! We are so proud of him! My mom came into town for his birthday and he had a blast! My aunt jewel and uncle bill just happened to be passing through town as well on rykers birthday and were able to come over and celebrate with us! He woke up to streamers and balloons at his door.. We had a few early presents to give him when he woke up before his party that evening waiting for him downstairs. After presents we got ready and took him out to breakfast to have a "circle square pancake" aka waffle! When Jeff got off of work we had a little pool party and BBQ in the backyard with his friends and our family! His birthday party was a mix of all of his favorite things since he couldn't pick one.. A little bit of ninja turtles.. A little avengers and a little big her 6! This was the first year he understood what it was to have a birthday party.. Cake.. Presents ect! He couldn't wait for us to sing happy birthday to him!!

Beachin'

These two... Ryker is so sweet to her most of the time.. He gets so excited when we are going to play with "rora" as he calls her!

Playing at the naval aviation museum.. Trying to get Ryker to come around to the idea that the "blue planes" aka blue Angels are actually cool... He likes seeing them he's just terrified of how loud they are! Landon on the other hand doesn't mind the noise! Speaking of "blue planes" they practice pretty much infornt of our house twice a week.. And we face timed my mom the other day and she told ryker she was coming on an airplane for his birthday and he kept insisting she would be coming on the "blue plane" which had us cracking up!

Ryker always asks if we can go play soccer.. He loves it!

On Sunday we officially had an 8 month old! Where has the time gone?!

He's starting to tolerate the sand and found that it's something that can be played with!

Ryker tried out toddler tumbling and really enjoyed it! When we left he kept saying "more time! More time!" So I think this will be a weekly activity!

And now we have a stander... He pulls himself up onto anything these days!!

We really are enjoying Pensacola and feel blessed to have this as our home for the next few years! However I am terrified because the talk of the town is that there hasn't been a hurricane in 7-8 years (or somewhere around that) and we are due for one.. Awesome! Just what I wanted to here! And I have to talk about the fact that we have crazy squirrels here.. Not kidding! They are everywhere.. And they fly! I walked ryker to the park and watched these squirrels chasing each other up a tree and one literally flew from the branch of one tree to the branch of another tree.. They really are crazy! Still waiting to spot an alligator just hanging around.. We will see if that ever happens!!

Pensacola

We've had a fun first few weeks here so far!! We love going over to pensacola beach.. You have to take this bridge out over the ocean for a few miles to get to it but it's gorgeous and super fun! It's the touristy side of where we live! We've also started to make some great friends from our cute little ward!! Jeff's started working at the hospital in the pharmacy.. And we've been busy going on play dates!

And landon has a little girlfriend as well... They are less than a month apart!

When we moved to San Antonio... We only had 2 weeks to find some where to live (while we were in vegas). Everywhere we called.. No one had a three bedroom available for when we needed it.. So we had to take a two bedroom. We knew it was only temporary.. That we would only be there for six months.. So landon slept in our room. My pregnancy wasn't as fun because I wasn't preparing a nursery for landon since we were living at my moms while Jeff was gone.. And then we moved in to a two bedroom where I once again couldn't give him a nursery.. So I was super excited when we got here to finally decorate a nursery for him ( even though he's almost 8 months old!!)

Pensacola or bust!

Its been about 2 weeks now since we were on our little road trip to our new home in pensacola! It was a fun little trip for us! We weren't in any rush to get to our new home since it was possible that our stuff wouldn't get to us until the 9th of March and Jeff didn't have to start working until March 10th... Plus we had to drive seperate and we wanted to make the drive easy on the boys.. I think our longest drive out of the three days was 4 1/2 hours which isn't bad at all!! The first day we drove to houston.. On the way into town we stopped at IKEA.. There were a few things I wish I had grabbed when we made the trip to ikea in Austin.. And once we got to florida the closest one is 5 hours away!! After IKEA we checked into our hotel and grabbed some dinner. The next morning we went and looked at NASA and then stopped at the aquarium before we started out drive to Louisiana! Louisiana is totally my favorite! It's just gorgeous there!! After we got to our hotel in Louisiana we set out for some real Louisiana Cajun food.. We shared fried pickles.. Fried shrimp and tried our first bowl of gumbo! I was dying to try a beignet ... But the place we ate at didn't have any.. Just another reason for us to take a 3 hour road trip to New Orleans soon!! Then the third day we finally made it to pensacola.. We checked into the housing office.. They took us over to our house and before we knew it the mover showed up with our stuff!! It was def a long day getting everything unloaded and unpacked but we were super excited we didn't have to go a week without our stuff!! Of coarse the next day we had to go find the beach/bay that's a minute drive from our house! So perfect!
