Our BIGGEST Surprise in 2013!

We have SO many changes coming to our family with Jeff going into the Navy.. Ryk and I moving to Vegas while he is going through all of his training.. And to top it off we were VERY surprised to find out we have another sweet spirit joining our family July 2014! It was very unexpected but we couldn't be more excited!! So far this pregnancy has almost been identical to my pregnancy with Ryker.. Except this time I had morning sickness before I even found out I was!! Still wishing for it to end ANY day now!! I Crave salads and Mexican food all the time.. Especially those chicken soft tacos from Del Taco! Yikes! I've been trying to stay more active during this pregnancy which I didn't with Ryk at ALL and I regretted it!! I still go to my Zumba classes which I love and still try to make it to the gym throughout the week! We went to our first appointment December 17th and saw our little peanuts heart beating and it's little stubby arms and legs!! We both fell in love all over again immediately! We have been teaching Ryker "where the baby is" and he will pat my belly softly!! I know he really has NO idea what's coming! Ha ha!! And when we took a trip to Vegas my sweet friend Amy Bonzo Photography took a few fun pictures for us to announce our big surprise!! A lot of people are curious to know about the delivery while Jeff is in training.. And we still don't know if he will be able to come to Vegas when I deliver! I know at that point he will for sure be able to Skype or face time the delivery.. But we haven't heard a clear answer on whether he will be able to come down or not! I can't imagine him not being there for it.. But I have no control over the situation and I will just have to deal with it when the time comes! Luckily I have already found and made an appointment with a new Dr in Vegas in a month.. I'm so sad to leave the dr and hospital here in Utah that I am so comfortable with but I have heard great recommendations about my new dr! I can't even believe we are moving in 2 weeks and we are losing Jeff for awhile.. It still doesn't feel real yet.. And I can't even imagine what emotional state I'll be in in a few weeks!!

I think I took 5 tests because we just couldn't believe it!

Ryker's 2nd Christmas

We had a blast this Christmas season! Knowing this was our last Christmas in utah we made sure to make a trip to see the temple lights as well as the zoo lights!!

Ryker enjoyed opening presents for Christmas and loved his toy story toys!!

We also took him to see his first movie despicable me 2 at the dollar theatre.. He didn't move an inch!

Note to self...

So I did not realize my pictures on my blog were the same album on my google plus profile.. Which I deleted those pictures on my google plus.. Which then deleted ALL my pictures on my blog and apparently there's no getting them back :( it's a sad sad day!

Books

Incase I didn't mention it before.. This boy of mine LOVES books!! I took him to the library again on Monday and then Jeff took him while I was working Thursday night! And he reads his books when we are driving around in the car which keeps him pretty occupied.. I can't complain! And currently he is transitioning from taking 2 naps a day to one.. I wasn't ready for this yet but it's what he's doing... It's been rough this week trying to prolong his morning nap so he can take one in the afternoon and then trying to keep him happy during the evening since he is omitting his 3:30/4 nap... Wish me luck!!! Ha ha and we are so super super excited for the 4th of July on Thursday!! Not that we have any plans yet :( but I'm sure we will find something fun to do!!

Strawberry Days And More

We had a fun weekend!! On Thursday we went to the pool with my friend Abigail and her two kids! Her daughter Georgia is only 10 days older than Ryker! After swimming Ryker took a nap and once he was up we took him over to Jon and Erin's so we could go to the temple! I love going to the temple with my hubs! I can't think of a better date night! On Saturday evening Ryker and I went to Strawberry Days with Julie and her two kids! Ryker loved watching all the rides.. Shopping the booths and of coarse I got him the biggest churro either one of us has EVER seen!! After church on Sunday we drove up to my aunts and had a dinner picnic at Pine-view! So fun! I want to live in this little town!!!
