Family pictures!

We realized we hadn't had any pictures of us taken as a family of 4 yet! Mainly because I'm not going to pay all of this money for my two year old who refuses to cooperate.. Even with many bribes! One of my sweet friends took a few for us and we love them! (Just don't pay attention to Rykers pout..)

And a few of Landons 6 months! 

As of lately...

I haven't updated in a month and we've been up to some fun since then! We celebrated Jeff's 30th birthday! We went to the Alamo.. Landon got 2 teeth.. He's sitting like a pro, wants to crawl and loves to eat graham crackers! Valentine's Day was fun.. Jeff graduates tomorrow.. We have our movers set up to move us to Florida and we have a four bedroom house waiting for us when we get there! It's crazy that we are moving in less than 2 weeks but we are ready and excited for our next adventure!

We went to cpk for Jeff's birthday and then had a cheesecake for his "cake"

Jeff just happened to be doing his round of clinicals at the same hospital our pediatrician is at.. So when we went for Landons 6 month appointment we were able to have lunch with Jeff 

Teething is Oh so not fun 

We sure are going to miss all of our amazing friends when we leave!! I have never met so many friendly fun amazing people as we have here! 

We had to make a trip to see the Alamo before we move! I only call it a trip because it really is crazy madness going downtown! 

I don't think I ever expected the Alamo to be in the middle of downtown next to the mall and the river walk.. For some reason I always thought it would be out in the middle of no where!! 

Jeff's been so good to let me get as many girl nights in as possible before we move! 

Landons hair is finally deciding to come in! So cute! 

Rykers first play date with his first little girlfriend! He loved it! Parks and happy meals.. Can it get any better than that? 

New year.. New plans!

This year we rung in the new year with the kids sound to sleep in their beds! I don't know what it is.. Now that I have kids I have no desire to keep them out super late and deal with their crankiness from being sleep deprived! So we went out to dinner.. Came home.. Put them to bed and hung out kidless! 

We are excited that for now 20-15 brings us 11 o'clock church.. Since we had church at 9 am for years.. Seriously though... And I'm pretty sure we are going to get 9 am church again when we move...

We are also so so excited to find out that 20-15 will make Pensacola Florida our new home for a few years! We had a whirlwind of a year in 20-14... Jeff leaving us for 6 months for the navy.. Moving to Las Vegas and then San Antonio.. Having a new baby.. We are excited to have a hopefully more mellow 20-15! But really.. I'm excited for the beach and the south (only an hour away from Alabama and 2 hours away from New Orleans..) but I'm terrified for alligators.. Hurricanes.. And crazy bull sharks! We are definitely looking forward to this new adventure we will be on!

11 o'clock church is amazing for our family.. We will be sad to kiss it good bye in the next 2 months.. 

We are growing waaayyy too fast these days..

Christmas in Texas

This year we spent Christmas at home in Texas with the company of my mom and step dad! It was a perfect Christmas! We went to the Saltgrass steakhouse for a Christmas Eve steak dinner and then we made a Christmas roast for Christmas Day! This year was so magical for Ryker! He kept talking about Santa flying to come see him and we even baked him sugar cookies that evening and put them out with a glass of milk and fresh carrot sticks for the reindeer! Unfortunately late that night Ryk developed croup and we ended up spending Christmas night in the emergency room getting him a breathing treatment!

Ryker was so excited to meet santa this year! We talked about it to him several times because we really didn't want him to freak out! He was so excited to meet him and he got so shy around him! We are thrilled that he actually smiled and waited for his picture to be taken! We were making bets that he would immediately want down from his lap!

Oh Christmas Tree

This year ryk was so excited to put up our Christmas tree! He loved helping hang the ornaments and he loves the lights! If they aren't plugged in he will help himself and just plug them in for us! He also loves looking at all the lights on people's houses when we drive around at night.. He always says to me "look! More lights!" It's so cute! This I think will be our funnest Christmas with him! He understands who santa is and what presents are so we are excited! And of coarse this year is Landons first Christmas!
