our firsts!

We bought our first baby bottle and first set of binkis! haha we decided to go with the playtex nurser drop-in bottles and the mam brand binkis! woo! now we just need to know what we are having so we can buy MORE in non-nuetral colors! haha

 we got that bottle...but in yellow since we dont know what we are having yet....so tempting to buy the cute pink one though!! haha

and we bought these exact same binkis...the top one was pretty nuetral..but they came in a pack...cant wait to buy pink or blue stuff!!

Sinks...

Apparently i have a thing for throwing up in sinks now! haha i have YET to throw up in my own toilet... i threw up earlier this week in my bathroom sink and then today i threw up 3 times in my kitchen sink...it just happens so fast...at least i havent thrown up on the carpet or anything like that...needless to say i am miserable...is it ever going to go away?? i thought at least by now it would start to get better...BLAH! i am such a baby... i hate throwing up and being sick to my stomach more than ANYTHING... and the worst part is..its SMELLS that make me dry heave and throw up..BOO! i wish i couldnt smell these days..things would be a lot easier for me if that was the case! ha! i dont know what made me think being pregnant was going to be so blissfull and fun..maybe because no one ever really talks about all the little things you have to go through...and i guess some people actually are fortunate enough to never get sick... ohh well it will all be worth it in the end...right? i just feel bad for my poor husband that has to put up with me laying around sick and constantly whining about being so nauseous...and making him smell different spots in the house that i think smell like that nasty food our neighbors have to cook every night when really he doesnt smell anything guess its just my extra sensitive nose ..and having to make me peanut butter toast in the morning and when he gets home from work at night becuase thats the only thing that makes me feel better when im nauseous....well 2 1/2 more weeks and ill be out of my 1st trimester..and it cant come soon enough!! thanks for letting me vent!!

Dear neighbors...
please stop making that horrible smell that comes out from your house when you cook everynight... it takes a lot out of me to keep myself from throwing up everynight when i keep getting wiffs of it...YUCK!

i really wish i could pin this to their door...ugh im SO sick of that smell coming from their house!!! i gag the whole way up my stairs every night! So done with it!!!

Our Little Bean...

                         We are Having a Baby!!!
We have known since the beginning of August.. i had no idea i was ..i didnt feel any different..it wasnt until i was over a week late and finally got some positive tests! And on Thursday was our first doctors appointment! We were so excited to see our little millsy for the first time and to hear and see that little heartbeating...it was amazing! Our doctor kept saying our little one had a strong heartbeat so thats music to my ears..its supposed to be between 120-160 bpm and ours was at 153 bpm! yay! The not so happy news for me was..i thought i was about 8 weeks...they thought i was 9 weeks (which got me super excited..that much closer to being out of the first trimester...) and then when we did the ultrasound and the baby was only measuring 7 weeks so my due date was moved from April 4 to April 18..i have a longer cycle so she thinks i just ovulated later than i thought...so we dont go back to the doctors until the first week of october when im out of the first trimester! woo!! Im excited to be done with the first trimester..especially since i am nauseous all day everyday..yuck..luckily i have yet to throw up... and im soo tired...i cant stand the smell of food cooking..and hate being in the kitchen more than anything! Jeff and Lily have been so good at taking care of me and the house since i have no energy haha! Here are some pictures...i know its too early to start showing but we wanted to track my week by week progress :)

Lily's 1st Birthday and More...

Last Thursday was Lily's first birthday!! And...we kinda went all out! haha We went to the dog bakery and got her her very own birthday pizza and a few birthday frosted cookies. And then we got all the humans coldstone cupcakes and coldstone ice cream sandwhiches! We took everything over to Brian and Lindsays and celebrated with them and the kids and Trent and Julie! haha Thanks to everyone for being a trooper ;)

Also almost 2 weeks ago i had the opportunity to go see SUGARLAND!! I went with my Aunt Susan, Uncle Dave, and cousin Julie. And we felt like VIPs...Literally! We had our own VIP parking... VIP entrance...free food...and our own suite with someone standing guard haha! It was an awesome show!! Sara Bareilles opened and she was soo good! and Sugarland is so good and so entertaining! i am so happy i got to go!! :)

This last Saturday was the bridal shower i threw for my friend Lindsay! i was so lucky to have my aunt susan come and help me cook the food and cupcakes since as of lately i cant stand to be in the kitchen and around food..blah!! But here are the amazing cupcakes we made...so darling!

An exciting week!

Last week was a very exciting and eventful week! On Sunday the 7th our nephew Nathan was blessed. It was a beautiful blessing filled with comfort and love. Then on Thursday the 11th Hannah and Grant got married!! We went to an amazing luncheon at Christophers Steakhouse and had a blast at the reception at a park in Draper. It was a beautiful night!! And to top it off we were so thrilled to have Tiffany Ryan and Embree in town! It was so nice to be able to do so much with them while they were here and we miss them like crazy already!! Here's a few picture i managed to take at the wedding...not too many though :( Mainly just ones of the adorable kids!!

The last HARRY POTTER!!

I cant believe its all over!! Im in total disbelief and sad that its done ha! Yesterday was an eventful day...I went to Juli's house and got my hair colored and cut... then later that evening we had our neighbors that we have made friends with over for dinner and games. So fun! Then we met up with Megan and Andrew for a double date at the temple! And Jeff and I got to be the witness couple again! Woo! We love getting the opportunity to do that! After the temple we rushed home to change and go to the midnight premiere of HARRY POTTER!! Top row seats at Jordan Commons! BEST way to do it! haha The movie was AMAZING!! I shedded a few tears thats for sure! Ugh it really is so sad its all over!!!
